How Grombre Hair Trend Inspires Women to Rock Gray Hair

What is Grombre? Well, I didn't know what it is, either. Only and so, it became the tagline for one of the biggest transitions in my life. A transition that was met with both opposition and fantastic support. This transition? The journeying of going silvery.

What Is Grombre Hair?

Grombre ('gray'+'ombre') is the way of letting your dyed hair gradually abound out and transition into the natural silver hair. It is the opportunity to find confidence and show your true colors, forgetting nigh the "necessity" of hiding what is natural and actually beautiful. She didn't take an instance of a silver transition per se, but she had many examples of cute icy white blondes. Shut enough. I booked a consultation.

During my consultation, the stylist combed through my pilus from root to waist-length tip. She looked at all the various stages of dye that existed simply in one strand of hair… from my silverish root, to layers of overlapping dye jobs, to the bleached-out ends. It was pretty bad. But the best part is that she was totally honest with me about that fact. Information technology wouldn't be easy. She said to me, "I will do it, but you will need to exist patient. I don't know how long this will accept. But, each time you leave hither, I will brand certain your hair looks pretty."

Now, ii years later on, my silver hair is an all-natural me. There is hardly a day that passes that I don't get compliments on my argent pilus. Uh….that didn't really happen when my pilus was dark brownish! Practice I have regrets? You bet I do! Why didn't I do this sooner?

My hair-dyeing procedure was incredibly time-consuming and expensive, and I wish I wouldn't accept been and then fearful that transitioning to silver was like succumbing to some atrocious disease. Now, silver hair is and so popular that younger women (20s, 30s) are coloring their hair argent on purpose! Silver was also recently named pilus color of the year.

This all leads to why I started my Instagram page @glamorousaging. I wanted to show that having silvery pilus or being over l doesn't hateful you aren't glamorous. Aging isn't a bad thing, it'south a beautiful affair.
